Partnering with AAN for an Independent User Pilot Opportunity!

Nurse Matrix Systems Inc. is partnering with the Alberta Association of Nurses to bring a unique pilot opportunity to 100 AAN members. As part of Nurse Matrix Systems Inc.'s internal research and development process, we are seeking feedback from Alberta nurses to better understand how the NurseMatrix© platform works for nurses in real-world nursing practice contexts, including ease of use and clarity of features, as we work towards broader implementation.
Who Can Participate?
Participation is open to nurses who have an active Alberta Association of Nurses (AAN) membership and have an active practice permit with an Alberta nursing regulator in one of the following categories:
-
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
-
Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
-
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
What participation involves:

Why Your Feedback Matters
Nurses are increasingly expected to independently track and demonstrate ongoing competence and continuing learning within their scope of practice. This pilot will help ensure that NurseMatrix© reflects the needs of nurses, with reasonable workflows, and uses the language of professional nurses to help them capture their unique role-specific skill development and overall skill sets. Your input will help us ensure NurseMatrix© is practical and relevant for nurses across designations and will directly inform product refinement and future development decisions.
Voluntary Participation and Confidentiality
Participation is voluntary. You may choose not to participate, decline to answer any question, or withdraw from the pilot according to the conditions outlined in the acceptance email information. Participation and information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

7) The pilot will run until Oct 30, 2026 - the post-pilot survey due date.
Participants that remain in the pilot and submit the post-pilot survey will have the option to continue to have the equivalent access to the platform as a “Nurse Basic” user with a 1 year subscription that started at initial pilot onboarding. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy will apply appropriately to both the removal of participants that withdraw at any time during the pilot, those requesting removal at the end of the pilot, and will continue to apply for those participants that complete the pilot and continue to use the platform.
