NurseMatrix© set up and log in requires Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) also known as 2 factor authentication for keeping your information as safe as possible. Once you sign up for an account you will be prompted to choose to use the Auth0 authenticator app or another authenticator app. If you already have an authenticator app for your work accounts or school accounts you can certainly use it!Here is how:1) When you are asked - chose 'other authenticator'.2) When prompted with a QR code - Open your existing authenticator app. 3) Use the QR code scanner in your authenticator app to scan the QR code generated by the platform.4) The authenticator app will confirm you want to add the platform, and when you agree it will add the platform to your accounts list.5) Open the platform account in the authenticator app and type the code it generates into the platform set up screen.*Tech Tip - either way, use the 'remember this device' checkbox for your personal devices only.*Tech Tip - keep the authenticator app you choose handy, you will need it to log in again after you finish the initial set up.

Employer onboarding takes time, and nurses want to stay organized! You can subscribe as an individual nurse by choosing a basic or a premium account depending on your needs. There are educational resources on the platform to support your individual credential management, skills tracking, and goals and get the most out of its capabilities. If your employer joins the platform your individual account payments will be stopped and should you choose leave that employer you can resubscribe at any time and maintain your profile, skills, and goals.

Nurses may be employed with multiple organizations on the platform, as such only you and the data stewards of the platform itself have access to all the information in your profile. Therefore, you are required to determine the sharing settings you want for any employer organization on the platform. It is important to understand your employer's policies and that they may require specific categories of data be shared. That makes sense - as it is meant to assist you in understanding your employers expectations, accessing the resources and supports to do your job well!
